About Me:

For years I kept a diary, but didn't have the fun of adding photos to it. Now that I've added a digital camera to my toys, the world seems to constantly beckon for a closer look. Because I'm a newspaper reporter/photographer, I tend to see things journalistically. Sometimes that's good, sometimes not. On other photo sites, contributors seem to like to leave people out. But, since people are what newspapering is all about, I do tend to like to include them in what I shoot. I believe in unwrapping each day with a certain amount of expectation, knowing that it has been given to me by God, and that there will be good things inside. As I unwrap, I'll share what I find here. And if no one ever reads this or looks at my photos, then I'll just have fun talking to myself and illustrating my thoughts.

My Interests:

I love to bike in the summer, especially on the Gitchi Gami Trail. I walk, write LOTS of letters, read voraciously, like to cook and bake, and prowl around cemeteries and historic sites--especially when they're right in my own backyard.
