When weather breaks out...
One part of my job is to cover storms. I've been to storm tracking classes and pay attention to the different types of clouds, but I am in no way a professional storm chaser. I don't have 6 people in a van with me and tons of gadgets. My approach is to get as close as I can, for as long as I can without getting (seriously) injured. I don't have any clever slogan, but if I did it would be something like "When Weather breaks out, I get in my car and try to find it". Here are some photos from last night.

A new 'do'
Deanna Muilenburg, 12, was part of the Hanson School assembly as she got her head shaved in front of the entire school. Muilenburg promised to shave her head in order to raise money for a family friend, Bobby Hettinger, 22, Fulton, who was recently diagnosed with leukemia. She sat in front of 350 people with a smile one her face the entire time.
