Bald Eagle teenager
One of my favorite places in the state is the tailrace area below Fort Randall dam near Pickstown. It's where I have done some awesome fishing, the scenery is beautiful and bonus - there are bald eagles soaring overhead. I shot this photo of what I thought was a large hawk. It's clear that the head of this bird is not all white. After a co-worker did some research, it actually is a bald eagle, just a younger one.
